		<intro>Chick is a new clothing boutique located in downtown Pittsburgh.  As a start up business offering unique designer women's clothing lines, the company made a big splash with an aggressive marketing campaign to introduce their unique brand and concept to the Pittsburgh region. They knew they needed a first class website not only to act as an advertising medium to showcase their merchandise, but to sell their products online as well.</intro>
		<solution>The Nauticom web team designed a site that brought the stylish, upscale atmosphere of their physical store to their virtual storefront.  One of the main features of the site is the product database which allows for easy online shopping and dynamically drives the navigation.  Visitors can choose how to sort through the extensive clothing line, either by brand, product type, new items, or sale items.  The website also features a customer login area that provides customers with conveniences in the shopping cart experience, registering for email updates and entering contests.</solution>

In 2006, they realized they needed to better represent their businesses and the services they offer in order to compete effectively in their industry.  They knew in the technology based business environment having a website that was consistent with the professional standards of their company was a necessity. They felt that their current website did not accurately reflect the range of services they offered and it did not represent the brand of the company. They also wanted added functionality in their website that would allow them to communicate and interact with customers.  Heeter Direct sought the services of Nauticom for a website solution.</intro>
